TapeDeck does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Your recordings never leave your device. We have no servers, no analytics, no tracking.

What We Collect

Nothing. TapeDeck is a fully offline application. We do not collect:

Your Recordings

All audio recordings are stored locally on your device in the app's private storage directory. Recordings are only accessible by the TapeDeck app and are not shared with any third parties.

When you use the Export feature, files are saved to your device or shared through Android's share system — entirely under your control.

Permissions

TapeDeck requests the following Android permissions:

No other permissions are required. TapeDeck does not access your contacts, camera, location, or internet.

Internet Access

TapeDeck does not require or use an internet connection. The app works entirely offline.

Third-Party Services

TapeDeck does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms. There are no ads.

Children's Privacy

TapeDeck does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
