The short version

TapeDeck doesn't collect any personal data. Your recordings never leave your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads.

Data collection

TapeDeck collects no data whatsoever. Specifically:

• No personal information
• No usage analytics or telemetry
• No crash reporting
• No advertising identifiers
• No location data
• No network requests (the app works entirely offline)

Audio recordings

All audio recordings are stored locally on your device in the app's private storage. TapeDeck never uploads, transmits, or shares your recordings. When you use the "Share" feature, you choose where to send the file — we are not involved in that transfer.

Third-party services

TapeDeck uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, or advertising networks. The only external service is Google Play for distribution and payment processing, which is governed by Google's privacy policy.

Children's privacy

TapeDeck does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If we ever change this policy, we'll update this page. Given that we collect no data, changes are unlikely.
